pop surrealism: otherworldly art

I have always loved surrealist artists, their canvases swept with otherworldly depictions and crazed dreams. Its an inner fantasy or vision realized with texture and depth. Rene Magritte is a great, as is of course, Salvador Dali--but lets not forget the great 16th century Hieronymus Bosch who depicted scenes of science, salvation and human folly.--My favorite contemporary surrealist artist is still alive, Mark Ryden who lives in Pasadena California. His paintings are a feast for the imagination. If only I could afford his work. I will be saving forever.....and ever.....and ever.
