vitrastone: recycled content sinks and counters

Ryan Waxman at Vitrastone gave me a Haute Tip about their Colorado company that makes sinks, tiles, countertops, reception desk tops etc. from 70% - 85% recycled content of recycled glass and fly ash blended with Ceramic-Cement. Vitrastone has low embodied energy, no off-gassing and absorbs co2's over its life time. The products are made with natural sealants and pigments, gaining points towards LEED buildings. They make and can even inlays with crushed seashells, speciality glass, fossils, or gemstones. Check out their products here.
