hess surfboards: sustainable resources

Daniel Hess builds surf board integrated with materials of lower environmental impact. Hess boards are made with reclaimed and sustainably harvested wood, cork (a renewable resource), EPS foam (recyclable), epoxy (emits low VOC's. Each design uses one half the fiberglass of a conventional surfboard, but has stronger impact strength due to sandwich construction. The longevity or life span of the board is much higher that standard could even be an heirloom.
