try walking in the green shoes

Its hot outside mid June, and it is a must to keep those tootsies air cooled. These shoes employ sustainable materials and are more eco-friendly than your average chaussure or zapato. The top picture is from Simple Shoes, very beachy. They are constructed using woven jute, bamboo linings, jute laces, natural latex, water based cements and outsole from car tires. Plus, they come packed with 100% post consumer paper pulp foot forms. The lower cool shoe example is from Patagonia. This sandal is made with a compression-molded midsole containing 20% recycled EVA and the outsole is constructed using a 70% natural latex harvested from the hevea tree. The heel is wrapped in a mixture of latex and coconut. Breezy shoes for some summer fun.
