monarda: bee balm: favorite blossoms

I have found my new favorite flower! Monarda more commonly know as bee balm, horsemint, or lemon mint or bergamot- is a genus of 16 species of herbaceous annual or perennial plants in the Lamiaceae, indigenous to North America. The leaves, exude a spicy, highly fragrant oil. Monarda in gardens increases the appearance of hummingbirds & pollinating insects. The oils in its roots can protect surrounding vegetable crops from subterranean pests. Medicinally the leaves can be crushed in boiling water to treat headaches and fevers. I am planning on collecting as many varieties as possible, the stacked multiple level flowers are stunning!

....still working on the template fix.....
