organic architectural: eco design

I am inspired and awed by organic forms in architecture still, and have found many more links to fabulous underground and odd shaped residences. Earth sheltering is the architectural practice of building up against earth using it to form some external walls for thermal mass. It is a form of passive solar architecture and maintains a constant indoor air temperature and guards against heat loss from the dwelling. It is a timeless method of construction, one that can be very beautiful.
