buro north: flat pack xmas tree

I love Buro North's ecological flat pack x-mas tree. Buro North sais they are 80% more environmentally friendly than a traditional xmas tree--they are CNCed from waste wood. Oh...this tree really does delight me.

great blog- very interesting. that christmas tree, while maybe eco-friendly, could never replace the traditional green tree in my heart.

I have a totally different opinion--I dislike pine needles falling all over the floor. I also think that the xmas tree business is strange-grow them and cut them for a couple weeks of viewing them--a dead tree in my house doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling.

I agree, Haute. I've never liked Christmas trees. But then, I don't feel the need to replace one with some sort of stand-in. For those that do feel some sort of attachment, however, I think this one's a better option than the traditional kind.
