urban farm: young architects program

Built with the help of many volunteers, the annual Young Architects Program installation at P.S. 1 is a lovely urban garden. This year, WORK Architecture was selected for their vision of transforming the angular concrete courtyard into a lush urban farm. Each cardboard barrel contains a different type of produce. Architects Amale Andraos and Dan Wood created a living structure of plants and vegetables out of the inexpensive, recyclable tubes.
